Coprolith was originally formed in 2001 in Porvoo, Finland. The band describes their music as Blackened Death Metal, with elements from raw black metal to melodic death metal.
After few demos and an Ep they released their long waited debut album "Cold Grief Relief" in June 2010 through Violent Journey Records. This murdering album of extreme melancholy and despair has been embraced by the listeners and media around the world, and has received excellent reviews.
The promoting of the album included live shows, festivals and tours across Scandinavia, Europe, Baltics and China. Coprolith has shared stages with bands like: Deicide, Lamb of God, Arch Enemy, Textures, Den Saakaldte, Gorgoroth etc.
The track "This Nightmare" was originally released on "Death March" and reprinted with permission from Violent Journey Records and COH Productions.
